New perspectives for the NGP industry: side events complement the NUBIZ trade show program

In-depth insights and networking at PouchXchange and the InterTabac World Alternative Awards

In September, InterTabac, together with NUBIZ and InterSupply, will once again bring the international tobacco and next-generation products industry together in Dortmund. Around 800 exhibitors will provide trade visitors with a comprehensive overview of the latest products and innovative developments. Visitors will also benefit from an extensive conference and supporting program. Focused side events in particular have become highly sought-after additions: they address key industry topics while creating space for in-depth discussion and targeted networking. Two formats are aimed especially at NUBIZ trade visitors, providing the global NGP industry with relevant insights and valuable contacts. 

Dortmund, 16 July 2026 – PouchXchange and the InterTabac World Alternative Awards ceremony will both return for their third edition this year. They provide stakeholders from across the global NGP industry with an ideal setting in which to gain in-depth insights, raise the profile of their products and build valuable connections. 

Strategic industry dialogue at PouchXchange
PouchXchange begins at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, 15 September, at the North Entrance. Designed to foster intensive exchange, the event has established itself as a key meeting point for dialogue among peers in the global nicotine pouch and snus industry. 

The Global Institute for Novel Nicotine (GINN), the event’s Knowledge Partner, plays a key role in ensuring the depth and quality of the specialist content. In a relaxed lounge atmosphere, the evening combines in-depth industry insights with exclusive networking opportunities. The program focuses on informed analyses of current compliance developments and global market trends, as well as their specific impact on production and distribution. 

Showcasing the industry’s best: the InterTabac World Alternative Awards
On Wednesday, 16 September, the international industry will turn its attention to the InterTabac World Alternative Awards. The awards put the spotlight on pioneering innovations and outstanding achievements in the reduced-risk tobacco and nicotine products segment. A total of eleven awards across four categories will be presented during the gala. Pouch Products focuses on the latest developments in the snus and nicotine pouch segment, while Vapor & Vape Solutions recognises outstanding e-cigarette systems. The Next Generation & Reduced Risk Products category honours pioneering advances in reduced-risk tobacco and nicotine products, while exceptional brand concepts and campaigns are recognised in the Brand & Market Impact category. 

The coveted trophies are awarded through a two-stage evaluation process. The winners are determined both by a distinguished seven-member panel of experts and by the NGP industry through an online vote. The jury brings together leading regulatory, scientific and market expertise from around the world. The official online voting period is already under way, giving industry representatives and market observers the opportunity to cast their votes here and play an active role in deciding the winners.
