Davidoff confirms strong growth for 2024

13. November 2025

Die Tabak Zeitung // Oettinger Davidoff looks back on another successful financial year in 2024. The company recently presented its results for the anniversary year at its headquarters in Basel.

Despite global economic uncertainties and a challenging market environment, the long-established cigar manufacturer achieved solid results.

After record years in 2023 and 2022, the family-owned company, which celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2025, increased its turnover to 541.7 million Swiss francs – an increase of 0.9 percent.

In the private label business, the Zino brand continued its growth trajectory and recorded an exceptional year with an increase of 28.1%. The premium brand Davidoff remained stable, while the accessories segment was particularly impressive with growth of 15% compared to the previous year. The pleasing annual result was largely driven by the strong performance of Wolsdorff Tobacco in Germany and the Asian duty-free business. The third-party business also continued to show steady momentum and contributed to the company’s positive balance sheet.

With these results, Oettinger Davidoff underlines its position as one of the leading players in the international cigar industry – and enters the anniversary year 2025 in a stronger position.
