Exhibitors congratulate the 45th edition of InterTabac
This year marks the 45th time that the industry has come together at InterTabac. In the run-up to the event, long-standing exhibitors have already sent their congratulations and memories of the anniversary. They have found these words for the organizers of the trade fair:

Guy Daniel Grobe, National Manager Food PHILIP MORRIS GmbH:
“Who would have thought in 2015 that we would be celebrating our most important brand MARLBORO at the PMG stand at InterTabac for the last time with just cigarettes? Also on hand: an engraving machine to engrave high-quality MARLBORO lighters for visitors. And everything was different in 2016! Our first appearance with the new IQOS tobacco heater really heralded a turnaround. The Philip Morris logo had disappeared and the IQOS branding shone above the stand. There were no more cigarettes at the stand and the big competitors either smiled at us or eyed us suspiciously. Almost 10 years later, this ‘change of direction’ has more than paid off: IQOS is available in 95 countries, 23.2 million adult smokers worldwide have already switched completely to IQOS and the TEREA tobacco sticks are in second place behind the MARLBORO. Who would have seriously expected that in 2015?”

Glenn Anthony John, Publisher TOBACCO ASIA Magazine:
“InterTabac’s 45th anniversary coincides with the height of its relevance and popularity for the tobacco and NGP industry. New programs, competitions and promotional opportunities are added regularly, making InterTabac the industry’s only annual must-attend event worldwide. Every year, visitors and exhibitors leave InterTabac with a definite ‘plus’ – they’ve met new customers, reconnected with old friends and done business. And they immediately make a note in their diaries for next year’s trade fair.”

>>> We will be publishing further quotes on the 45th InterTabac in our press releases between now and the trade fair.
