Following the success of the InterTabac World Alternative Awards 2024 at InterTabac and InterSupply, Messe Dortmund, in partnership with The Vaping Group Ltd, is now announcing the return of the ceremony honoring alternative nicotine products. The event will take place in an exclusive area in 2025 – away from the trade fair stands – and an exciting selection of price categories dedicated to the growth of the Next Generation Products (NGP) segment.
Dortmund, 06.11.2024 – The award ceremony will take place on the Friday of the trade fair and has the sole aim of recognizing the innovations of companies in the field of alternative nicotine products. The winners of all categories will be announced and honored live on stage at the ceremony. The event also gives companies the opportunity to network and celebrate with other industry experts and professionals.
As publisher of the new trade magazine “Alternative”, which deals exclusively with alternative nicotine products, the British media company The Vaping Ltd. is once again contributing its extensive expertise to the awards ceremony. Kirk Martin, Director of Operations at Alternative, said: “I am very excited to be working with InterTabac on the InterTabac World Alternative Awards and to once again showcase the best of the best in the alternative nicotine industry to the world. It’s a continuation of showcasing a very diverse industry and I couldn’t think of a better partner to host the ceremony with us.”
Users decide the winners With regard to the integration into the world’s leading trade fair for the tobacco industry, he added: “InterTabac is known for not only being a fantastic trade fair, but also for its perfectly organized networking events. I for one can hardly wait. It’s going to be an evening of excitement and entertainment, and you should definitely be there!”
Incidentally, users have a say in the award: They have the opportunity to cast their vote for a product or manufacturer online. The winners of some of the selected categories are also determined by industry representatives. The more than 20 categories include Best Flavor Range of the year, Best Alternative Product of the year, Best Nicotine Innovation of the year and many more.
Sabine Loos, Managing Director of the Westfalenhallen Group, said: “While classic products continue to play an important role, we are also seeing a strong increase in demand for alternatives. By presenting the ‘InterTabac World Alternative Awards’, we want to actively support this development and recognize the diversity of alternative products. The introduction of a separate award was a logical step.”
